How does a sólid became liquid
What i understand of how it converts solid in liquidáis that molecules
Begin to be realeased. The movements have become so great that
The attractive forces of the molecules no longer hold them
In place the solid become co-free molecules and the crystalline
Structures become to colaps into liquid
Freezing
As the líquid becomes to cool the particles go slow and get
More closer by the freezing point, as the time it pass the crystalline
Solid is being forming when the liquids is becoming a solid the
Temperatures become falling and the líquid becomes more viscous

Solid
Kinetic theory of matter
There aré only three statements of mater that aré solid liquid
And gas
Atoms
The átoms combine form a partícle that is called molecule
And they Almost aré the smallest particles that is made up of matter
But there aré differents types of átomos like an old atóm make
Gold ring.
Matter in motion
Mater in motion is the particles that get contact when they produce
Motion is so object move and there is a theory calls kinetic energy of matter
That tells about the particles that aré in constantly movement
And temperature & heat
Aré the particles of materials the gastes they go the highest temperature
They have the same and viceversa Way And
A fiscals exámenes of that is the hot tea and ice tea
They ate the samesparticles but

Thinking critically
16. much discussion has focused on the need to drive more efficent cars and use less electricity.if the law of conservation of energy is true. why are people concerned about energy usage?
the problem is that the original form of the energy (gasoline) is now mechanical energy and is of no use once wasteful.
to make it usable again it need to be gasoline which takes an extremely long process in nature.
17. if heat flows in only one direction, how can both hot and cold liquids reach room temperature as they sit on a table?
the heat from the hot object goes in the air and the air goes to the cold liquid
18. think about what happens to jack and jill in the nursery room. what kinds of enrgy are used? how was each energy form used?
if they are walking they are using kinetic energy but if they are sit down they are using potential energy
19. compare the 3 temperature scales you learned about. how are they different? how are they similar?
the celsius scale is based on 0°.
many physical and scientific formulas can be expressed on the kelvin scale
farenheit scale, water freezes at 32° and it boils at 212 °
similar: they are all based off the freezing and boiling points of water.
different: they define them at different numbers.
20. use what you know about the movement of thermal energy to explain why you would place a minor burn on your arm under cool, running water.
because heat is transfer from the warmer object to the cooler object.
DEVELOPING SKILLS
now when you are standing up on the tramp you have potential energy due to standing at a higher level above ground.
when you are jumping on thr tramp you have both kinetic and potential energy. potential for the springs (as energy that is stored) and height.kinetic energy whwn you are moving in the air up and down.
so when you are in your highest point in the jump you have the most potential energy.
when in the middle half you have the most kinetic energy.
when you are back in the bottom, touching the mat you again have max potential energy due to the spings.

Reactions
Endothermic. Exothermic
Baking bread Burning wood
Striking a match to ligth it Exploding dynamite
Baking bread is because when you bake something the energy absorbes
Burning wood is because the energy atracted the heat
Striking a match to light it because when you strike the match the heat is absorbe
Exploding dynamite is because when the dynamite explodes the explosión is heat and buen it

Suppose you are a home owner who wants to heat 1200Ft
Of living space by using a solar heating sistem you contact
A solar heating technician and ask to have 400Ft of solar
Collector installed.is your request reasonable
Collector area
------------------
Living space
Proportion
Collector area
------------------ == 400Ft
Living space ------- = 1
1200Ft --
3. And mi personal request is 480,000 solar collector

A pendulum swings seven times per minute if the string Were half as long the pendulum world swing ten times per minute if the original lenght Were twice as long the pendulum would swing five times per minute
Answer
Among more shorter the rope More times it is going to swing per minute
Bar graph
----- ----- ----- -----
= 5 swings per minute
----------- ----------
=7 swings per minute
